6-Week Mum and Baby Yoga Program

Reconnect with your body and bond with your baby through gentle yoga in our 45-minute classes. This 6-week program is tailored specifically for new mums and their babies, aged 6 weeks to walking.

Our baby and me yoga classes are relaxed, welcoming, and flexible — because we know life with a baby is never predictable. If your baby needs to feed, be cuddled, or take a break, that’s completely okay.
 

In each yoga and baby class, you can expect:

Who Can Join?

Our mum and baby yoga classes are suitable for mothers with babies from six weeks old (or once cleared by your health professional) up to crawling/walking age.

 

No yoga experience is necessary — just bring yourself, your baby, and an open heart.

  •  2–3 sessions is ideal, but STRONG offers flexibility. Each class is a full body strength training workout, so even once a week creates results. 

  • Absolutely. Our strength training for seniors supports bone health, mobility, and everyday strength with safe modifications. 

  • Yes! STRONG is perfect for strength and conditioning for women, improving bone density, energy, and confidence.

  • A blend of strength & conditioning workouts, including upper body strength training exercises, exercises with weights, bodyweight drills, and mobility work. 

  • Q: How long are the classes?
    A: Each mum and baby yoga class runs for 45 minutes, giving you plenty of time to stretch, bond, and connect without overwhelming your baby.

  • Q: How does the 6-week program work?
    A: Our 6-week baby and me yoga program is designed to gently support your postnatal recovery while helping your baby explore movement and connection. Each week builds on the last, but classes are always flexible to meet you and your baby where you’re at.

  • Q: What if I can’t attend all 6 weeks?
    A: We understand that life with a baby can be unpredictable. While the program is designed as a 6-week series, we’ll support you however you can attend. Just let us know, and we’ll help you get the most out of your time with us.

  • Q: Do I need yoga experience?
    A: Not at all. Our mother and baby yoga classes are beginner-friendly and tailored for new mums at any stage of their postnatal journey.

  • Q: What if my baby cries or needs feeding during class?
    A: That’s completely normal. Our yoga and baby classes are relaxed and supportive — you’re welcome to feed, cuddle, or comfort your baby anytime.

  • Q: What should I bring?
    A: Bring a yoga mat if you have one, a blanket for your baby, and anything else that helps you both feel comfortable. We’ll provide the rest — a calm space to move, bond, and breathe together.

Meet Your Teacher Phoebe Malone — 

Phoebe knows how important it is for new mums to feel supported, strong, and connected — both to their bodies and their little ones.

 

Her yoga journey began while volunteering in the Philippines, teaching yoga to amputees, and she has since trained in prenatal yoga, amputee yoga, yin, and Neuroaffirming Yoga.

With over 20 years’ experience as a healthcare professional in Prosthetics and Orthotics, Phoebe blends alignment, biomechanics, and gentle modifications into every class. Her Mum & Bub sessions are carefully sequenced to help you regain strength, flexibility, and confidence while including your little one in the fun. Expect flowing movement, thoughtful cues, and plenty of smiles!

Three years ago, Phoebe moved to the Bellarine with her husband and two young children — so she truly understands the joys and challenges of motherhood.
