Before the silly season kicks into full swing, take a moment just for you. ‘Rest, Reflect & Ocean Reset’ is a calming, nourishing workshop designed to help you gently close out the year, ground your energy,
and recharge before moving into the holidays.
We’ll begin with slow, restorative yoga to release tension and create space in the body, deepening into some yin poses, followed by a soothing sound Savasana to deepen relaxation and calm the mind.
If you prefer to skip sound, you’re welcome to relax in the garden, perhaps with a journal.
Guided reflection throughout the flow will help you honor the year that’s passed—its lessons, joys, challenges, and moments of growth. (If you prefer Australian spelling, use “honour.”)
Then we’ll wander down for a refreshing (optional) ocean swim or splash, a symbolic rinse to release the old, reconnect with nature, and revitalise your energy from the inside out.
Back on land, we’ll finish with a warm cup of tea or glass of bubbles and an opportunity to connect and recharge each other.
A peaceful pause before the year’s busiest weeks—perfect for anyone craving calm, clarity, and a fresh reset before the new year arrives.

The Way of Yin is a 4-day, 25-hour advanced Yin Yoga teacher training with Rebecca Andrews and Hugh Lee, designed for those who’ve completed foundational Yin training or currently teach Yin. This course deepens both personal practice and professional teaching, blending the wisdom of Chinese medicine and the power of Yin.
Mornings with Becca explore the Five Elements, Taoist philosophy, and Chinese medical concepts like Qi, Shen, Jing, and Channels. Afternoons with Hugh include Qi Gong, Posture Lab, and Yin practice.
Expect to gain tools for sustainable living, a deeper connection to body and spirit, and renewed teaching confidence as you release roadblocks to inspired, authentic teaching. Open to students, teachers, and seekers of knowledge.

Join senior teacher Hugh Lee for an immersive Yin Yoga Teacher Training designed to deepen both practice and teaching. Over five days, Hugh weaves together Yin Yoga, Taoist & Buddhist meditation, daily Qi Gong, functional anatomy, Chinese Medicine, and mindfulness into a rich and balanced journey of learning and self-discovery.
Students will explore Yin and Yang principles, functional anatomy (tension vs compression, fascia, and skeletal variation), asana study with props and modifications, and the art of purposeful sequencing. Taoist philosophy, meditation, and Qi Gong are integrated throughout, offering tools for balance, healing, and presence that extend far beyond the mat.
This training is open to yoga teachers, dedicated practitioners, and massage/shiatsu practitioners. Whether you are seeking professional development or personal transformation, this course offers both depth and practicality.

SUMMER TO AUTUMN
TRANSITION WORKSHOP
Facilitated by storyteller and celebrant Diana Fisk
As the warmth and outward energy of Summer begins to settle, Autumn offers an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and gently release what is no longer needed. This 75-minute workshop provides a supportive pause to honour this seasonal shift.
The experience begins with a calming grounding practice designed to settle the body and reconnect with natural rhythms. Moments of reflection follow, creating space to acknowledge what Summer has held and to explore what Autumn is encouraging to soften and transform.
A collective nature arrangement or artwork is then created using natural materials gathered onsite at Salt & Wood, along with seasonal plants from the Ocean Grove Community Garden. This shared creative process serves as a simple yet powerful way to honour the changing season, set intentions, and foster meaningful connection among participants.
The workshop is well-suited for anyone seeking to reconnect with the rhythms of nature and enter Autumn feeling grounded, clear, and supported.
