Nervous System Reset Morning: Regulation is the New Glow! Pilates, Breathwork & Cacao

Join Mia in May at Salt & Wood Studio, Ocean Grove, for a grounding morning that gently guides your body out of fight-or-flight and into a calm, regulated state.

Flow of the morning:
- Guided breathwork to settle the body + mind
- Signature Pilates flow (sculpt, strengthen, release)
- Closing breathwork to deepen the reset
- Calming nervous system tips and conversation + cacao 

Includes a ceremonial cacao from “White Hart Coffee Bar” in Ocean Grove.

Take this time to slow down, reconnect, and restore from within. Leave feeling calm, clear, and glowing.

Have you ever had a moment of ease or joy for no apparent reason? Perhaps it occurred while driving the car, taking a shower or walking the dog? A simple feeling of being okay just as you are.

 

These are moments that we can tune into more often than we realise. They do tend to arrive naturally, revealing a steadiness beneath the movements of thought and emotion, and these little glimpses, even if very brief can remind us that there is something about us that is inherently 'ok' and not in need of fixing.

 

This will be the main enquiry on this Yoga Nidra Immersion with Chris. Through conversation, gentle movement and Yoga Nidra, we’ll learn to tune in to these moments of ease and allow them to become more apparent in our lives.

 

Chris’s teacher Richard Miller calls this 'ease' our 'inner resource', the more we tune into it, the more it becomes a powerful resource that supports us through challenging times and helps us connect more easily with those

around us.

Led by Liza, this 75 minute workshop is an opportunity to experience Myofascial Release & Sound on a Friday night, when you can wind down and relax into the weekend.

Join Liza for a rejuvenating 75-minute Myofascial Release workshop designed to help you unwind and reconnect with your body. In this gentle, restorative session, we'll focus on offering a soothing "massage" to the connective tissue, promoting better blood flow, circulation, lymphatic drainage, and overall recovery.

Guided by mindful breathwork and sound, you'll have the opportunity to dive deeper into your body's sensations, unlocking tension, improving mobility, and enhancing your body's natural healing process. 

This workshop is the perfect way to nourish both the body and the mind, leaving you feeling restored, balanced, and grounded. Whether you're new to myofascial release or a seasoned practitioner, this session provides a nourishing, holistic approach to maintaining body awareness and supporting physical well-being. 

Dance Club with Caz!

Step into the rhythm of Salt & Wood’s monthly Friday night Dance Club! 

Designed to bring the community together through movement and music, the Dance Club is a vibrant space where all levels are welcome to let loose, connect, and celebrate the joy of dance. 

Whether you're here to groove, learn, or simply have fun, each session promises high energy, great tunes, and an inclusive atmosphere. 

Come solo or with friends—just bring your love of rhythm and a readiness to move.

 “Sip and Stretch” is our fusion event that generally combines a gentle stretch session with a social element.

 

Sip beverages provided (wine, tea, or other) before, during, or after this gentle practice.  

The concept merges the relaxation benefits of movement with a more casual and social atmosphere, encouraging members to unwind in both body and mind.

Free for full Wellness members
$40 for all others 

Sound (45 minutes)

Comfortable. Healing. Relaxing.

Lay back, be cosy and comfortable and be guided into relaxation with a sound bath.


This is a meditative practice where members are immersed in sound waves produced by various instruments, such as crystal or Tibetan singing bowls, drums, or chimes. The vibrations from these sounds can help guide the body and mind into a deeply relaxed state, promoting healing and balance. 
 
We suggest attending Yin if available before hand for a entire body and mind experience or solely Sound is a lovely option too. Lie down and allow the sounds to "wash" over you...you might even hear the flow of the ocean or birds in our Zen garden.
